Congratulations to Stanford History Class of 2026!

Stanford's Department of History will host its 2026 commencement ceremony at Lane History Corner in Citrus Courtyard on Sunday, June 14, 2026 from 12:30pm - 2:30pm (PDT). 

Citrus Courtyard is behind History Corner (Bldg. 200) at 450 Jane Stanford Way, Stanford, CA 94305. Please see the map below, showing walking instructions from the University Commencement Ceremony (Stanford Stadium) to Citrus Courtyard. 

We in Stanford Department of History look forward to celebrating our graduates’ accomplishments. While we firmly support freedom of speech, disturbances to the ceremony will not be tolerated. If you would like to express your opinion on an issue, please do so in White Plaza, Stanford's free speech zone (directions & info). Thank you for respecting this celebratory moment for our graduates and their guests.

Citrus Courtyard is located behind the History Corner (Bldg. 200) at 450 Jane Stanford Way, Building 200, Stanford, CA 94305. The map below shows walking instructions from the University Commencement Ceremony at Stanford Stadium to the Citrus Courtyard. You are also welcome to take the Marguerite Shuttle, which runs along Jane Stanford Way that day. Please take the "C Line" shuttles and get off at either the "Jane Stanford Way/Stanford Oval" stop or the "Jane Stanford Way/Lasuen Mall" stop and look for the Department of History banners.

Parking: The campus is extremely busy on Commencement Day. Please give yourself plenty of time to arrive and find parking.  The closest parking spaces are located at Stanford OvalGalvez Lot (L-96)Track House LotGraduate School of Business (Parking Structure 7)
