History Department Workshops
Department Workshops are led by History Department faculty members, usually in collaboration with History graduate students. They bring together Stanford History affiliates to present and discuss their ongoing research.
Workshops meet periodically to throughout the year, where Stanford faculty and graduate students present their work-in-progress for feedback. Occasionally, they host scholars from other universities in the San Francisco Bay Area or elsewhere.
Each workshop is organized by a Faculty Lead, who shapes the workshop programming in close conversation with a Graduate Student Coordinator, who manages all workshop logistics. The Department provides funding, guidance on event planning and execution, and administrative support.
Please review the list of current workshop series and contact the organizers with questions.
