Please join us at the Stanford Humanities Center on March 11-12, 2022 as we celebrate the work and life of Estelle Freedman; her foundational contributions to the intersectional histories of women, feminisms, and sexuality; and the scholarship she continues to inspire.

Feminist History: A Conference in Honor of Estelle Freedman will begin late afternoon on Friday with a plenary session exploring the multi-faceted contributions of Estelle’s scholarship and mentoring, followed by a community reception. Saturday’s programming will be devoted to three-panel sessions featuring the current scholarship of Estelle’s past doctoral students and opportunities to come together as a scholarly community.

Friday, March 11, 2022 -- 3:00 to 6:00 pm -- Plenary and Reception
Saturday, March 12, 2022 -- 10:00 am to 5:15 pm -- Panel Sessions
