Duygu Yildirim Awarded the Dan David Prize 2021

PhD candidate Duygu Yildirim (advisor: Paula Findlen) receives highly prestigious Dan David Prize scholarship for her research on the history of medical translation between the Ottoman Empire and early modern Europe. The David Dan Prize is an annual international award for outstanding scholars around the world, and it offers scholarships to doctoral students and postdoctoral researchers of exceptional promise. This year’s areas of focus are the history of health and medicine (past), public health (present), and molecular medicine (future).
