Charlotte S. Hull

Charlotte is a PhD student examining the relationships between early America, the Atlantic and Pacific worlds, and the history of the United States. Her research explores people in motion, long-distance trade, migrations, and how people create new social and political systems. Current research projects include Pacific connections between Alta California and the Hawaiian Islands in the mid-nineteenth century, and the development of women’s education in the American West.
