Cornelius Torp

Cornelius Torp joins the Stanford History Department in Winter 2025 as the Kratter Visiting Professor in European History. A specialist in modern German and European history, he has published and taught widely on the history of trade policy in the age of globalization, the development and intellectual foundations of the welfare state, and the history of gambling.
