Farah is a PhD student in History at Stanford University. She studies early modern global history, with a focus on people, objects and imaginations moving between the Ottoman World, Iberia and Latin America in the seventeenth century. Farah holds a BA in Political Science and a BA in Middle East Studies from Leiden University. Farah also holds an MA in Middle East Studies from Leiden University and an MA in Latin American history from the University of Chicago.
