Walter Benjamin Reading Group

This reading group invites members of the Stanford History community and readers from related fields, including comparative literature, German studies, and art history, to collectively read the works of Walter Benjamin. In Spring 2024, we will read selections from Illuminations, paired with contemporary works of criticism, and in Spring 2024, we will read selections from Reflections. Selections will be flexibly chosen to reflect the interests of group members. Interested attendees are invited to simply attend a meeting, or contact organizers for more information.
